Suprise LucaBeth Project Revealed

Hey, hey, Hearties! How are we doing this fine Wednesday? Can you believe we only have 7 days until WCTH Season 9 begins filming? Goodness! How time flies!

So obviously this isn't a typical blog post for me. Now rest assured I have one planned for this Friday if all goes according to plan, but... in the meantime it seemed like the perfect moment to share with you guys the secret project I've been teasing for awhile. :)

So... you know how every year at the end of a WCTH season I do something special? Usually involving Lucas and Elizabeth, as well as a lot of time, effort, and tedious nit-picking... Oh yeah. And music. Definitely music.

Okay, you've probably guessed it by now, or simply jumped down to the end of this post. Lol! Yes, Hearties! I have created another LucaBeth music video for you guys! I love putting these together, and a friend of mine gave me a wonderful song idea. (You know who you are! ;) It worked perfectly, and after listening to the song more times than I can even remember... (Eye twitches...) It's finally done!

Oh, yeah... I also got a YouTube channel! :) So as well as this brand new video, you can find my old music videos as well. I'm sorry they're not the best of quality. I hope to fix that and get better quality videos in the future.

Well, here it is! Click the link below to go to my YouTube channel and click on the video titled, "You're the Inspiration: A LucaBeth Music Video" if you'd like to give it a watch! I hope you guys enjoy it! God Bless!

  1. Hope!

This video was so good, I smiled all the way through!

And that song is one of my all time favs! ;)

Thank you so much for all the time you spend entertaining us.

    :)

  2. I almost forgot- remember way back in season 6 when they built the library? Lucas told E she was the inspiration.

    ;)

  3. Hi Hope,
I admire you and all the others having the skill to translate the lyrics of so many beautiful songs into all these videoedits. I can only imagine the time spent on finding the matching scenes not only context-wise but also in the right length to enable cutting to the next in the right moment, often even mastering the art of balancing song and dialogue so that none overshadows the other.
I got to know a number of beautiful songs by watching E&L videos and that brings joy to my life. So thank you to you and all the other ones for sharing your creativity with us.

That being said, I admit that with the increasing number of videos out there displaying the same scenes over and over, now when I hear a song, my head picks his own scenes to match the lyrics as if I were doing my own videoedit of the song. And then, if my "result" is very different, I cannot really enjoy the video that was actually made. As if the video and my own train of thoughts are pulling me in opposite directions.
That also happened with your video. Based on your posts that often describe what I think, I did not expect our creative brains to work so differently. Life is full of surprises.... lol. And that's what makes it interesting, isn't it. :)

    1. That is definitely what makes life interesting! And it's perfectly okay that you had another idea of how my video should have went. I do the same thing at times for other peoples' videos, and think different clips should have been used at parts or that clips should have been edited differently. :)

But thank you so much for your kind words! I appreciate that! I hope your day has been great so far! God Bless!

  4. Hi Hope, just wanted to make clear that in no way I was implying how your video SHOULD have went, it's your creative art and I fully acknowledge that. I would find it presumptious to think I know better than you how you should have told your story.
My point was more "I would have" than "you should have". :)
